Under the guidance of Al-Marashdh and the efforts of Al-Obeidat.. Jadara university fructifies in a new international classification

Jadara University achieved, for the third year in a row, an advanced international classification in sustainable development, the environment, and green buildings that save energy and water.
These achievements are the fruits of a long-term effort from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdh, who worked during the past years to develop the university’s boarding house and provide its departments and faculties with a group of professors and doctors. Al-Marashdh also set five-year and ten-year plans to work on developing the educational and recreational infrastructure for students.
The guidance of the mentors made Jadara University rise every year to a distinguished level, making it one of the leading universities in higher education at the local, Arab, and even global levels.
As the university's participation in this international classification UI-GreenMetric 2022 came in accordance with the university's strategic advancement plan for the purposes of obtaining international accreditation, and Obeidat reported that Jadara University obtained an international ranking of 215 and in an advanced position out of 1050 advanced universities for that, as it obtained 7525 points from out of 10,000, but last year it was 7075 points, meaning that the university achieved an increase of 450 points, and the ranking of a local wall came fourth among public and private universities, as Al Balqa Applied University ranked first locally 57 globally, Jordan University of Science and Technology second locally and 178 globally, and the University of Al-Zaytoonah is the third locally and 181 globally, Jadara University the fourth locally and 215 globally, Petra University fifth locally and 268 globally, Middle East University sixth locally 516 globally, the University of Jordan seventh locally 525 globally, Amman Arab University eighth locally and 610 globally, and Al al-Bayt University ninth locally 828 globally , and Aqaba University of Technology tenth locally and 884 globally.
In turn, University President Dr. Mohammad Talib Al-Obeidat said that the UI-GreenMetric global classification depends on infrastructure standards by 15%; energy and climate change by 21%; waste by 18%; water by 10%; transportation by 18%; Education and scientific research by 18%, in addition to sustainability, environment and energy consumption.
He pointed out that, according to its vision and strategy, a wall has obtained the accreditation of the Green Campus and Sustainable Development for the third year in a row to provide the infrastructure and superstructures associated with sustainable development, including energy, life, solid waste management, and other academic activities related to sustainable development.
Lama Haddad, Director of the Office of International Relations, pointed out that the university's obtaining this advanced classification in sustainable development and green buildings came under the guidance and follow-up of the university president and in compliance with our implementation plan to focus on sustainable development axes such as infrastructure, renewable energy, climate change, solid waste management, transportation, water, education, and research. Scientific, as whale guides were presented on 60 files.
