أخبار البلد - أكد سفير النوايا الحسنة الدكتور نصير شاهر الحمود على أهمية القرار الخليجي المتمثل بقبول الأردن ضمن منظومة دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي قائلا عن ذلك سيحقق منفعة مزدوجة للطرفين  في ظل التحولات السياسية الإقليمية والاقتصادية الدولية.

وقال "هذه الخطوة بمثابة خلق عمق جديد للأردن ولدول المجلس، فكما يحتاج الأردن الدول الست في احتضان أعداد من العمالة المهرة والمؤهلة، فإن الخبرات الأردنية في الميادين الأمنية والعسكرية والطبية والاقتصادية والمالية ستكون عونا للدول في المضي قدما في نهضتها الاقتصادية التي تقوم على أسس الإنتاجية العالية".

وأكد الحمود على دور جلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني بن الحسين في عضوية مجلس التعاون، إذ يصل جلالته الليل بالنهار لتحقيق ما يسهم بالارتقاء بالمواطن الأردني ومصلحة الوطن.

وشدد الحمود المقيم في الدوحة وهو رئيس لجنة مساندة النشامى على أهمية توقيت التحاق الأردن بركب دول المجلس الخليجي، إذ تواجه الأخيرة تحولات إقليمية دفعتها لتوثيق عرى تفاهماتها مع الدول الأكثر قربا من الناحية الجغرافية والديموغرافية والتاريخية، كما أن العضوية الأردنية ستحد من أزمة البطالة المتفشية بالمملكة والتي تتركز في جزء مهم منها في العمالة عالية التأهيل.

على أن الحمود يؤكد أن المكاسب الاقتصادية التي ستتحقق من الانضمام للكتلة البالغ حجمها تريليون دولار، لا يعني توقف الأردن عن مسيرة الإصلاح والارتقاء بمستوى الشفافية التي تصب حتما في صالح الاستثمار، إذ يحرص المستثمرون الخليجيون على استهداف المواقع التي تتمتع بدرجة عالية من الشفافية والبعيدة عن التعقيدات البيروقراطية.

ويسير الحمود الى استمرار وقوع الأردن في موقف أقل من متوسط في معيار الشفافية الدولية، متأخرا عن دول المجلس وهو ما يتطلب حث الخطى لإحراز تقدم من شانه الارتقاء بالتنافسية المستندة لمستوى الشفافية.

وقال " هناك فرصا في المملكة قد تجذب كبار المستثمرين في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي في المرحلة المقبلة، وتحديدا في قطاعات النقل والتعدين والسياحة والصناعة، إذ يتوقع أن تصبح السوق الخليجية بديلا لأسواق تقليدية أردنية في منتجات كانت تورد للدول الست من نشأن آخر في سنوات مضت، وهو ما يدعونا لدراسة متطلبات هذه الأسواق بصورة دقيقة".

وفيما يزيد عدد العاملين الأردنيين في دول مجلس التعاون عن 400 ألف يساهمون بدعم ميزان المدفوعات عبر حوالاتهم المالية السنوية، فقد أكد الحمود بان العدد المذكور مرشح للزيادة في السنوات المقبلة، في حين توافرت التخصصات التي تحاكي النهضة الاقتصادية الشاملة بدول المجلس، وهو ما سيزيل عن عبء الحكومات عناء خلق الفرص الجديدة أو البحث عن طرق لتغطية العجز في الميزان المالي.

واستدرك الحمود بالتأكيد على أهمية معرفة نوعية عضوية المملكة في المجلس، وماهية المتطلبات التي قد تشترط لتحقيق العضوية الكاملة ، آملا تبلور الصورة الكاملة في وقت قريب.

Jordan Accession to GCC Would Yield Bilateral Productive Results- IIMSAM Official Dr. Naseer Homoud

albalad news - Dr. Naseer Homoud, Goodwill Ambassador and Director of Middle East office for the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM) has welcomed the deliberations with effect to accession of Jordan in Gulf Cooperation Council Member States. Dr. Homoud who is also the CEO of Qatar based The Wall for Investment and Real Estate Development has applauded recent developments in this context. Welcoming the move he said “Jordan's accession to GCC membership will contribute to enhance the bonds of relationship between the member states”.

A press statement issued from Dr. Homoud’s office mentioned that Jordan’s accession to GCC is set to contribute towards unified approach and a framework under which GCC countries could alleviate the economic burdens faced by Jordan, which will in turn, provide  stability in the entire region. Dr. Homoud said that the relationship between Jordan and the GCC countries, rooted in ancient Arab history would enhance the mutual cooperation.

He pointed out that the economic structure and political development of Jordan is similar to the Gulf, which facilitates the melting of the possibility of full membership of the bloc, and that it would complete the prerequisites to be achieved as the conditions prior to enrolment.

Dr. Homoud asserted that on-going transformations in the region and the world reinforce the importance of expanding the horizons of the Gulf Cooperation Council, to serve the basic headings for the next phase amid contemporary regional and global developments. He hoped that Jordan would bring its expertise, trained manpower and skills to the GCC which shall in turn facilitate the requirements of GCC.  He also urged the Gulf States to explore the abundant investment opportunities in spectrum of health and tourism in Jordan which is suffering from lack of funding channels.

“We look forward to continuance of the dialogue in this respect between states and I am very much optimistic of these developments which are set to yield productive results. We hope that Jordan’s GCC membership will help in addressing the country's growing economic problems, including a chronic budget deficit, high unemployment and surging oil prices,” said Dr. Homoud.

He pointed out that Jordan is well situated as a regional entry point, being well connected to neighbouring countries and global markets through modern transportation and communication networks.  The Kingdom’s location allows for diversification and expansion into progressively affluent markets. “Careful planning and policy reforms, a strong economy, and the creation of ideal conditions suitable for business have led to a surge in foreign investment in Jordan and it would certainly benefit GCC in multifaceted approach”, said Dr. Homoud.
